Cody Merrow - C.E.O

Cody Merrow is originally from Newport, NH, a small rural town in central New Hampshire best known for its blue collar attitude, where three generations of his family have called home.

After graduating from Newport High School  in 2011, he chose to forego a roster spot from a local state school and attended Ithaca College in Upstate, NY. Through the Roy H. Park School of Communications and the Ithaca College Business School, he earned a B.S in Integrated Marketing Communications with a minor in Writing. In his time there, he was active in the school’s American Marketing Association Chapter in addition to doing freelance work for neighboring Cornell Student Organizations. To earn money as a college student, he worked as a substitute Montessori School teacher for the better part of 2 years.

Professionally, his marketing career began in the Summer of 2014 when he accepted an internship position with Phil & Co. a philanthropic marketing agency based in Manhattan. From Day 1, he knew NYC would be where he called “home” after graduation. In Summer 2015, he began work within the Oxford University Press Marketing Department, one of the foremost academic publishing companies globally, located in Midtown, Manhattan. After a year in that position, he left and began applying to jobs with the email subject line “Cody Merrow - The Best Hire You’ll Make In 2016”. 

After barely two-weeks on the job market, he accepted a role as QuallsBenson’s first Social Media Manager, and after only 3 months of hard-work, was promoted to the team’s Strategy Department as a Media Coordinator. Over the course of 2.5 years, he worked diligently with management to develop strategies and practices that still continue today. Within that time period, he trafficked nearly $1M worth of Paid Social spend, and aided in the sale or rental of over $1B of NYC Real Estate through his work with what is now known simply as “QB”.

Which leads him to the next chapter, an agency of his own mind, expertise, and attitude. Beginning July 1st, 2019, Cody Merrow is now the C.E.O of Merrow Marketing, a role in which he’s eager to prove his worth as the best Marketing Consultant you’ve ever met.
